About Us
SENA (Sexual and Reproductive Health Equity Network Africa) is a specialist volunteer network of sexual and reproductive health experts working across Africa. We are researchers, clinicians, lawyers, and advocates who came together around a shared conviction: that evidence-based knowledge and honest conversation can move the needle on sexual and reproductive health policy and practice.
We produce knowledge products, host webinars, contribute to policy conversations, and write on the issues that matter across our thematic areas: adolescent sexual and reproductive health, maternal health and family planning, gender-based violence and sexual violence, and disability and sexual and reproductive health.
SENA is a network by design. We actively welcome collaborators — researchers, practitioners, advocates, and institutions — who share our values of dignity, inclusion, non-discrimination, and rigour. If you work in this space and want to think, write, and advocate alongside us, there is a place for you here.
